About
Modomise is a UK-based design studio making premium desk accessories for people who care about where they work. We were founded in 2021 by Emmanuel Oyemade and everything we make follows a simple pattern; our products will optimise, personalise and customise your work space to your needs. We design everything to earn its place on your desk becuase our products are built to last, built to perform, and priced fairly.
Why we started
We started Modomise because the choice in desk accessories was always the same: cheap products that did not last or expensive ones that cost too much. Nothing in between that was genuinely well made and fairly priced. Products were too bulky, took up too much surface space or could not be adapted to how people actually work.
We did not accept that trade-off and Modomise exists to close that gap.
What we believe
Every product we make has to earn its place. We use natural materials such as felt, cork, solid wood and metal because they age well, feel good in daily use and last significantly longer than cheaper alternatives. We would rather make one thing you keep for ten years than three things you replace every year.
What we make
Layer is a desk mat made from premium felt and natural cork. Soft and warm on your wrists, silent under a mouse, and stable on any desk surface. The cork backing grips without sliding, dampens typing noise, and holds its shape over time. Available in black and grey.
Tower is a modular desk organiser made from solid wood and metal. Fully stackable and reconfigurable, it holds your everyday desk items while keeping your working surface clear. It uses the vertical space above your desk rather than spreading across it.
Keeper (coming soon) is a wooden desk tray currently in development. Designed to give your everyday items a proper home: phone, keys, wallet, AirPods.
Placer (coming soon) is a set of four reversible coasters currently in development. Felt on one side and cork on the other so that you choose which side faces up.
